Three different extruded profiles lying side by side

Industrial profiles for demanding requirements

Hard, corrosion-resistant or weldable – aluminium industrial profiles have to meet numerous requirements. The reason is obvious: the range of applications for such products is wide, and industrial profiles are also used for many highly specialised applications. This calls for an experienced and flexible partner who advises, develops concepts and creates tailor-made solutions. With almost 40 years of experience as a manufacturer of aluminium profiles, we are a valuable development partner and supplier for numerous industrial companies. Our aim is nothing less than to offer high-quality products at an attractive price.

Industrial aluminium profiles – which applications are possible?

Industrial aluminium profiles are used for a wide variety of applications. One example is industrial halls, where the profiles are used in the construction of the halls themselves, for instance for safe roof structures and so on. They are also used inside the halls for noise protection and occupational safety equipment.

On the other hand, industrial profiles are also used in the construction of plants and production lines. Both areas require precise planning, and we will be happy to advise you on achieving an ideal and cost-optimised solution.

The advantages of our profiles

High precision

20 times higher precision than the extrusion standard of DIN EN 12020-2 and DIN EN 755-9.

Wide range of possibilities

The degree of precision that we achieve in production gives you a wide range of possibilities. Designers and engineers are very free in their design because our extruded profiles do not tie them to conventional standard specifications.

Small batch sizes

A major advantage that IsoProfil offers you as a manufacturer of extruded profiles is the production of small batch sizes. We employ complex production lines, such as in CNC machining, surface finishing or assembly so that we can supply you with completely finished profiles.

Complex profile geometries can be formed

This manufacturing process can also be used to produce complicated profile geometries and specially shaped cavities, for example.

From the design to the final profile

We use high-quality, complex production equipment for manufacturing, for example for CNC machining, assembly and surface treatment. This way we can supply you with completely finished profiles.

Complex shapes and sizes

We manufacture profiles with complex shapes and sizes, with optimum surface finishing and very thin walls down to 1.1 mm.

What matters in profiles for industry?

The material properties to be considered are as wide-ranging as the requirements placed on industrial profiles. That is why we deliberately rely on aluminium, as this light metal offers many advantages in this context. The key properties are:

  • Degree of hardness
  • Strength
  • Corrosion resistance
  • Machinability
  • Weldability
  • Appearance

As a competent development partner and manufacturer of industrial profiles, we know exactly which aluminium alloy offers the required properties and advise you on the optimum solution for your needs. We pay attention to both functionality and cost-effectiveness. This gives you a product of maximum efficiency.

These are our strengths in industrial profiles

As a long-standing expert in industrial profiles, we offer you a full service from a single, competent source. Consulting, development and series production merge seamlessly. To guarantee optimum results, we also rely on prototype manufacture. This ensures that the planned aluminium profile meets your requirements 100 percent in practice. Our services are rounded off by on-site assembly and maintenance. This saves you time and money, as you do not have to engage and coordinate any other service providers.

Industrial profiles – FAQ

Yes, both for active cooling with liquids and for passive cooling with air. However, only straight, linear channels can be produced.

Depending on the scope of supply, profiles can, for example, be milled, drilled, countersunk or threaded. The machining can be agreed on the basis of 2D drawings or 3D CAD data.

The minimum quantity depends on the profile, the alloy, the surface treatment and the production batch. When you send us an enquiry, we can tell you the minimum quantity that applies to your project.
