Hollow profiles with different surface finishes
The surfaces of our hollow profiles can be finished using various methods, such as anodising, electroplating, painting or powder coating. The anodising process for aluminium profiles, for example, not only improves their appearance, but also makes the hollow profiles more resistant to scratches and similar external influences. The process that is best for surface finishing depends on the field of application and the material used for the hollow profiles.

Hollow-chamber profiles are used wherever low weight, high stability and stiffness are required, e.g. in window and façade manufacturing, architecture, vehicle construction, the trades and the packaging industry
This depends first of all on the overall width (depth) of the profile. In theory there are no limits, but profiles with a maximum of 8–9 hollow chambers are common. Walls that are too thin or of varying thickness are also a critical factor. IsoProfil will be happy to carry out an analysis for you.
From an outside diameter of 3.5 to 5 mm, continuous round channels can be produced directly by the die. Smaller ones only as a screw channel (C-shape)

More complex shapes can be produced from aluminium or steel, however. Copper and brass, on the other hand, are less suitable, especially with thin walls
